We have finally completed the summer doll pattern!!! Meet Pearl the Summer Doll!!

Pearl is the second in our Four Seasons Doll Collection. It took us a lot longer to finish her than we had hoped, but we had many unexpected interruptions. We are hopeful that the next two dolls in this series will come out a lot quicker!!

So what’s next? Well, we are going to be working on developing a newsletter, and a free pattern to accompany it! And of course we also will be starting on the next doll: the autumn doll.

AND, we also have exciting news: We will be starting a new collection of patterns… Dog breeds!! We’ve gotten a couple of requests from friends online who run foster homes for certain breeds. And it is an idea we have been thinking of even before that. So it’s time to start! And first up? A dachshund and a basset hound! :)

Sneak Peek at Pearl the Summer Doll

Some of you have been waiting a long time for our next doll in our “Four Seasons” doll series!! We’ve had many set backs along the way, but we finally are on the brink of having her finished!!

And because she is almost done, we wanted to give you all a sneak peek at how she is coming along. Below you can get a first look at her sandals and beach bag!!

Clarence the Cardinal is our second “Backyard Bird” ornament, following Harold the Hummingbird that we released last year. Clarence would be a great anytime decoration for bird lovers, but would also make an especially great Christmas tree ornament. Bailey the Barn Owl is the third pattern in our “Woodland Collection”. She makes a great little decoration, and would look great on a shelf or grouped with other woodland decorations! We also think she would be cute in a woodland themed nursery. Bailey has a small felt base, but she doesn’t stand up all by herself (unless if maybe you filled her bottom with beans), so it is best if she is leaning against something.

Free Printable Valentine Cards For Kids

We recently designed some printable Valentine cards for kids to color. We have added them to our section of free coloring cards which can be found in our “Free Crafts” category. We designed the cards into two formats. One format is a quarter fold of a standard sheet of paper and the other is a smaller size for classroom Valentine exchange cards. The exchange cards have jokes inside for the recipient to decode. And as previously mentioned, both styles are designed as coloring cards! So if your kids love to color, then maybe they would like to give these Valentine cards to their friends.
